As the chaos of political winds continue to blow in France over who will become the next leader of the European nation, one group of liberal progressives wants to have an illegal alien step in to become their next President.
Desiring to bring their own ‘Hope and Change’ to French shores, a liberal activist group has created a petition and website titled Obama 2017.FR, and they are seeking to get his name onto the list of candidates for President despite the fact that he is not even a French citizen.
Why Obama? “Because he has the best resume in the world for the job,” reads the website, which is in no way connected to Obama.
“At a time when France is about to vote massively for the extreme right, we can still give a lesson of democracy to the planet by electing a French President, a foreigner,” reads the website in French.
A spokesperson for the group told ABC News Thursday morning, “We started dreaming about this idea two months before the end of Obama’s presidency. We dreamed about this possibility to vote for someone we really admire, someone who could lead us to project ourselves in a bright future. Then, we thought, whether it’s possible or not, whether or not he is French, we have to do this for real, to give French people hope … Vive la République, Vive Obama, Vive la France and the USA. – ABC News
The irony of this of course is that Barack Obama’s original birthplace was one of great discussion while he functioned in the Oval Office between 2009 and 2017, with many Americans questioning if he was even a native born citizen at all.
Perhaps it should not be surprising that individuals living in a member state of the European Union would seek to elect a foreign national to become their next President, especially since one of the leading candidates for the Chancellorship in Germany is calling for illegal aliens to be allowed to vote in their coming election. And it should be a huge warning sign to Americans and Europeans alike that the Progressive Party is really the Globalist Party, where nationalism and citizenship have very little meaning in their vision of the future.
