KIRSTERS BAISH| We can’t make this crap up. It seems like lately everything Islamic is being shoved in our faces, but this is taking it way too far. When these sickos try to influence our children, we have a serious problem. A Shariah-compliant Barbie doll is now hitting the toy market, “Hijarbie.” I wish I was joking about this. 24-year-old Nigerian, Haneefah Adam, has been working on desiging the doll. She claims that she wanted a doll that represents her personal culture and religious beliefs. Adam, who is a self-proclaimed “Instagram fashionista”, explained that her doll wasn’t Mattel-compliant, but she views it as a success among young Muslim girls already.
Adam had stated to Style Mic that she thought of the idea for the doll a few months back. “It got me thinking about how I’d actually like to see a doll dressed up like I would have — covered up,” Adam said. “I was mulling about the idea for about three months while I was still studying for my master’s degree in the U.K. When I got back to Nigeria, I went to the mall, purchased a doll, dressed it up, documented it and here we are.”
I, among many other Americans, am completely disgusted with the idea. Yup, this picture basically sums it all up.
What a great idea to show little girls that they belong in a suppressed society where they are considered second-class citizens!
Adam hand makes all of the head-to-toe outfits and hijabs for these oppressed little dolls. She claims her goal was to show Muslim girls that they were just as beautiful was Western women, and wearing their hijab shouldn’t be shameful. Yeah Haneefah, it’s great to see a doll that puts little girls in their place and shows them that they don’t deserve to show anything other than their eyes.
Adam explained that she is also releasing a “modest lifestyle brand.” She makes all the dresses and hijabs on her own. She designs her looks based on “popular Muslim fashion bloggers.” Just what we need, more women completely covered from head-to-toe, hating themselves for being female.
The sickest part of the whole thing is the fact that these toys are aimed at children. Children are so easily influenced, and this is a danger to our entire society, which is exactly what the Muslims want. Their goal is to brainwash our children in order to gain followers to their sick regime. The Muslim influence is even hitting AMERICAN stores like H&M and Uniqlo, who are now selling hijabs and advertising Muslim women in ad campaigns. When is this nonsense going to end?
I can’t imagine any sane parent buying a doll for their daughter that promotes abuse of women. Muslims have zero respect for women, and by purchasing this doll for a child it is basically telling that little girl that it is okay for a man to rape and beat her. We need to keep these sick toys out of the hands of our children.
